THE BEGINNINGS

Our beekeeping beginnings date back to 2008, when we started beekeeping with four families. Beekeeping has developed in a few years to 40 economic families and 12 reserve ones. During the period of preparations for the re-expansion of beekeeping, I developed a very strong allergic reaction to bee venom. The reactions to the sting were life-threatening, which forced me to stop active beekeeping.

SEARCHING FOR SOLUTIONS

The first spring without bees brought the realization that bees are a part of my life and that somehow it won’t work without them. I started actively searching for a solution to my allergy problem. Two solutions were offered: treatment or to ensure that the tick does not occur at all. The treatment is quite long, but I wanted a solution as quickly as possible. So, find an outfit that protects me from the sting.

WHICH IS THE RIGHT ONE

In researching the market, I quickly realized that there is no suitable solution on the market in Slovenia. I saw the dress that I wanted from a friend who bought it at a fair in Germany. The dress was quite different from anything we knew at the time, made of three layers of mesh material. It was not so easy to buy such a dress at that time, because there was practically no offer. The price was also in the range of a manual honey dispenser.

FIRST ATTEMPTS

I ordered the first dress samples from Pakistan. Immediately after opening the package – disappointment. The dress was not nearly what I expected either. This happened to me twice more and a change in strategy was required. A friend from abroad provided mii with the contact of a manufacturer that was trustworthy. We agreed on a test delivery. The samples were great and we started working together.

COOPERATION AND DEVELOPMENT

We put dresses on the market that were an absolute novelty for most people and were laughed at quite a few times. We started with white dresses, to which we later added brown, yellow, pink… We are in personal contact with our customers and know how to listen to every idea that brings progress. Thus, we are constantly improving our dresses, as each new series has some improvements. Today, the share of sales of three-layer air suits is more than 90% in the segment of protective equipment.

THE OFFER

We still offer a line of dresses as we were used to in the past. It is called the CLASSIC line and is available in different colors. Jackets and overalls are available, as well as overalls for children. However, the range of three-layer mesh protective suits – 3S, which we offer in various colors, with a spacesuit or a round hat, dominates. Overalls, jackets and trousers are available. All our offer is available in sizes XS (for body height up to 160 cm) and up to size 4XL (for body height 210 cm)

ADVANTAGES

The main advantage of 3S suits is a really high level of protection against stings. Of course, there is always the possibility of a spot, but with the use of this dress, that possibility is greatly reduced. Another important advantage of the 3S suit is its breathability, as it enables normal work even on the hottest days. The airy mesh material wicks sweat away from the body and creates a fan feeling even when walking faster or with a slight gust of wind.
